Called for More

““For I know the plans I have for you,” declares the Lord, “plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future.” -Jeremiah 29:11

A woman once spent years working quietly in a small office. She felt overlooked and wondered if her work mattered. One day her supervisor told her that the systems she created behind the scenes were the reason the entire department succeeded. What she thought was insignificant was actually preparation.

Sometimes God works in the background of our lives the same way. The seasons that seem quiet or slow are often training grounds for the future God has already planned.

Decree:
I believe God has a purpose for my life. I am not overlooked. I am being prepared for the future He has already designed for me.

Prayer:
Lord, help me trust the plans You have for my life. Even when I cannot see what You are doing, strengthen my faith to believe that You are guiding my steps. Give me patience in preparation and courage for the future. In Jesus’ name, Amen.
