Love is a state of being

"A new command I give you: Love one another. As I have loved you, so you must love one another. By this everyone will know that you are my disciples, if you love one another." — John 13:34-35 (NIV)

Love is not a passive feeling. It is a deliberate choice you make every single day.

It’s easy to love people when they treat you well. The real test comes when someone is difficult, rude, and some. God does not call you to feel fuzzy emotions toward everyone. He calls you to treat them with honor, patience, and kindness.

Jesus did not wait for us to be perfect before He loved us. He chose sacrifice over comfort. Stop waiting for your feelings to change before you do the right thing. Today, make the decision to take charge of your attitude and walk in love.

Decree:
I decree that the love of God flows through me today. I am patient, I am kind, and I do not take offense easily. I choose to forgive quickly, speak life into others, and walk in love—regardless of how I feel or how others treat me. In Jesus' Name, Amen!
