Stop looking in the rear view mirror
"There is therefore now no condemnation for those who are in Christ Jesus." Romans 8:1 (NIV)
Condemnation is a vision-killer. It’s meant to steal your joy and to keep you stuck in past mistakes, relive your failures on a loop, and to fully persuade you that you don’t deserve God’s very best. Thank God for the truth: When God looks at you, He doesn't see your past; He sees His child, washed clean in the blood and made new.
You can’t reach for the big things God has for your future if your hands are full of the regrets of your past. Shake off the guilt. God isn’t holding a grudge, so why are you? Today, I challenge you to forgive yourself, pick your head up, and walk confidently in the freedom that Jesus has already paid for. You are not "damaged goods"—you are a masterpiece in the making!
Decree:
I am free from my past. I cast that weight off me. I refuse to live in condemnation because I am in Christ Jesus. Today, I walk in favor, joy, and the confidence that my best days are right in front of me! Amen!
