Your story isn’t over
"When they came together in Galilee, He said to them, 'The Son of Man is going to be delivered into the hands of men. They will kill Him, and on the third day He will be raised to life.' And the disciples were filled with grief." — Matthew 17:22–23
Yesterday, we read on how Jesus taught that faith as small as a mustard seed can move mountains. Today, He points His disciples to the greatest miracle of all—His death and resurrection.
When the disciples heard Jesus speak of His suffering, they were overcome with grief. They couldn't see beyond the pain to the promise that He would rise again.
We often do the same. We focus on the struggle and we lose sight of what God IS doing. What looks like defeat may be the beginning of His greatest work.
Faith isn't only trusting God to move mountains—it's trusting Him through the valleys. When you can't see the outcome, remember that God is still writing your story. Friday wasn't the end— Sunday was already coming.
Decree:
Thank You, Lord, I will not be discouraged by circumstances because I know You are working for my good and Your glory. My hope is in Christ, and I believe that what looks impossible is never beyond God's power. I will walk by faith, knowing that my story is in His hands. Amen.
