Be filled with Joy

“Always be filled with joy in the Lord. I will say it again. Be filled with joy”. Philippians 4:4 ERV

Paul wrote this while in prison—Selah. He is making a point to let us know that joy is a choice, not a feeling. The joy of the Lord is your strength, but you must choose it.

How many of us have been through hard situations where the Lord said to laugh? There is power in joy. It’s not just an emotion; it’s a fruit of the Spirit. Let joy rule in you today and get happy. You can either get mad or get glad.
