Fear God

"Much dreaming and many words are meaningless. Therefore fear God." — Ecclesiastes 5:7 NIV

We close out this week on something very important: a reverent relationship with God. It’s easy to fill our minds with big dreams and countless words, but none of those things will satisfy us if they are not grounded in God. We can spend our lives talking about what we want to do, and chase ideas, yet still feel empty inside.

God never intended for us to live in a world of fantasies and endless striving. He wants us to live with our hearts anchored in Him.

The fear of the Lord is not about being afraid of God; it is about having a deep respect and awe for who He is. He knows the end from the beginning, and His wisdom is far greater than our own .

A heart that reveres God does not have to chase the wind. It can be still, confident, and secure, knowing that the One who holds the universe together is also faithfully guiding every step of our lives.

Decree:
My heart is anchored in God. I will walk in reverence, trust His wisdom, and rest in His care. I do not need to strive, impress others, or chase empty things. My hope is in Him, and my life is secure in His hands. In Jesus' name, amen.
