Light The Way

"Your word is a lamp for my feet, a light on my path."

God is not going to give you a giant spotlight that shows the next ten years of your life. Even though we want to know exactly how the problem is going to get solved, when exactly the money is coming, and who is or isn’t going to change. But that is not how God works. He gives us a lamp—and a lamp only shows you enough light for the step you are on right now.

You cannot live in tomorrow; you can only live in today. When you spend all your time worrying about the future, you miss the grace that God has provided for this very moment. Stop trying to figure everything out. Your job is to obey God today. Take the step that is right in front of you- God will have the light ready for the next one.

Decree:
God’s Word is a lamp to my feet.
I cast my cares on Him, I refuse to worry about tomorrow, and I choose to enjoy today in perfect peace!
