My Mind Can Rest on God’s Faithfulness

“God, you give true peace to people who depend on you, to those who trust in you.” -Isaiah 26:3 ERV

Whatever holds our attention eventually influences our emotions. When our minds remain fixed on everything that could go wrong, fear becomes louder. When we intentionally return our attention to God’s faithfulness, peace begins to take root.

Keeping our minds on God does not mean pretending the problem is not real. It means remembering that the problem is not greater than the One who is with us.

God has carried us through difficult seasons before. He has provided when we did not see a way forward, strengthened us when we felt empty, and protected us in ways we did not recognize at the time. The same God who was faithful then is present with us now.

Daily Decrees

  • I decree that my mind will remain anchored in God’s truth.

  • I decree that God’s faithfulness gives me confidence for today.

  • I decree that perfect peace is rooted in me.

Prayer
Father, when my thoughts are filled with fear, remind me to shift them back to You. Remind me of every place where You have ALREADY been faithful.
Help me stop magnifying the problem and to magnifying Your power, goodness, and love. Thank You, Lord for keeping my mind steady and my heart secure. I trust in You.
In Jesus’ name, amen.
