Steps of Faith

“The heart of man plans his way, but the Lord establishes his steps.” - Proverbs 16:9 ESV

We like having a plan. We make checklists, set goals, and map out our future. Planning is a good thing. We often see changes or delays as failures instead of seeing that God may be leading us in a different direction.

This verse reminds us that we can only see what's right in front of us, but God sees the whole picture, beginning to end. When a door closes or your path changes, it may be God guiding you toward something better. Trust Him, even when the journey takes an unexpected turn. Your plans may change, but His purpose for your life never will.

Decree:
Today, Lord, I trust Your direction over my plans. Even when my path changes, I believe that YOU are leading me with wisdom, love, and purpose. I will walk by faith, knowing Your plans for my life are always good. Amen.
