Cares Become Clutter

"A dream comes when there are many cares, and many words mark the speech of a fool." — Ecclesiastes 5:3 (NIV)

Yesterday, we learned to listen more and speak less. Today's verse continues by reminding us that a busy, cluttered mind often produces restless dreams, while uncontrolled speech reveals a lack of wisdom. Wisdom is the ability to make sound, intelligent judgments and decisions.

The more concerns we carry, the more cluttered our minds become. Before long, we're overthinking, overtalking, and missing the peace God has for us. This verse reminds us that wisdom isn't found in saying more—it's found in the quiet, in trusting God.

When we bring our cares to Him, we don't have to figure everything out on our own. We can rest in peace, knowing that God is in control.

Instead of replaying your problems, take time today to give them to God. Let His peace quiet the noise in your mind and guide your path.

Decree:
Today, I will not be controlled by fear, anxiety, or overthinking. God is with me and He is working on my behalf.
My mind is at peace, my heart is at rest, and my spirit is attentive to God's voice. I will listen before I speak, trust before I worry, and walk confidently in the path God has for me. Amen.
