Faith is already growing in me

“The apostles said to the Lord, “Give us more faith!” The Lord said, “If your faith is as big as a mustard seed, you can say to this mulberry tree, ‘Dig yourself up and plant yourself in the ocean!’ And the tree will obey you.” -Luke 17:5-6 ERV

Sometimes we think we need more faith before we can believe God.

We say:

“I just don’t have enough faith.”
But Jesus shifted the focus away from the amount of faith and toward the power of genuine faith placed in God.
A mustard seed is small, but it contains life.

Your faith may feel small today.

Maybe you are believing while still struggling.

Maybe you are praying while still afraid.

Maybe you are trusting God while still asking questions.

That does not mean you have no faith.

Faith is not always loud.

Sometimes faith sounds like:

“God, I don’t understand this, but I still trust You.”

Sometimes faith is simply taking the next step when you cannot see the entire staircase.

Your faith grows when you hear God’s Word, speak His promises, remember His faithfulness, and continue trusting Him in the middle of uncertainty.
Faith Goal

Today, write down one situation that feels impossible.

Then write underneath it:

“This situation is not bigger than my God.”

Instead of rehearsing the problem all day, intentionally speak God’s truth over it.

Decree:
Father, Thank You, for increasing my awareness of the faith You have placed inside of me. When fear speaks loudly, help me remember that Your voice is greater. When my circumstances look impossible, help me focus on the One who makes a way where there seems to be no way. I may not have all the answers, but I have a God who is faithful. Thank You, for strengthening my spirit and teaching me to trust You, fully. In Jesus’ name, Amen.

My faith is alive and growing. Even when my faith feels small, I place it in a big God. I will not be controlled by what I see. I choose to believe God’s promises.
