Favor can Position You for Purpose

“The king loved Esther more than he loved any of the other women. He was more pleased with her than all the other young women. He put the royal crown on her head. He chose Esther to be queen, instead of Vashti.”- Esther 2:17 EASY

Esther didn’t know what was coming.

She was simply walking through the circumstances of her life. Then suddenly, favor positioned her. She went from an ordinary young woman to someone sitting in a position where she could influence the future of her people.

That’s what divine positioning can look like. You may think you’re simply:

Going to work. Meeting someone. Taking a class. Starting a business. Learning something new. Walking through an unexpected season. But God may be positioning you for something you cannot see yet. Favor can put you in rooms you didn’t know you needed to enter. It can give you opportunities you couldn’t manufacture.

It can cause someone to notice what God placed inside of you. But remember:

Favor is not merely for comfort. Esther’s favor came with responsibility.

She had to use her position for a purpose greater than herself.

Faith Activation
Ask: “God, prepare me for the favor I’m asking You for.”

Then identify one practical thing you can do to prepare.

Prayer:
Father, position me according to Your purpose. Give me favor for the assignments You have placed before me. When You open a door, give me wisdom to walk through it. When You put me in a room, show me how to add my supply. When you give me influence, help me use it responsibly. Prepare me on the inside for what You are preparing on the outside.

I am being positioned for purpose.
The right opportunities, relationships, resources, and doors align with God’s purpose for my life. I will be prepared when opportunity arrives.
