Favor With God and People

“3 Keep hold of faithful love. That will be like a beautiful necklace that you always wear. Think about what it means to love other people. 4 If you do that, you will make God happy. People will also be pleased and they will respect you.” - Proverbs 3:3-4 EASY

The Bible shows us that favor can operate in two directions:

Favor with God. Favor with people.

Sometimes the very thing you need is not something money can buy.

You need someone to say yes.

Someone to open a door. Someone to give you an opportunity.

Someone to recognize your gift. Someone to recommend you.

Someone to believe in you. God can use people as part of His provision.

But Proverbs gives us an important key: Mercy and truth.

Biblical favor is not manipulation. You don’t have to manipulate people to get ahead.

You don’t have to compromise your character, You don’t have to become someone you’re not.

Walk in truth. Walk in kindness. Walk in integrity.

And trust God with the relationships and connections He brings into your life.

Today, intentionally show kindness to one person without expecting anything in return.

Prayer:
Father, give me favor with the right people. Connect me with people who are aligned with Your purpose for my life. Give me discernment to recognize divine connections. Remove relationships that are not good for me, and give me wisdom to recognize relationships that are. Let my character be worthy of the favor You give me.

Decree:
I walk in mercy, truth, wisdom, and integrity. I have favor with God and favor with the right people. Divine connections are being established according to God’s purpose for my life.
