Kindness is love in action

“But the fruit of the Spirit [the result of His presence within us] is love [unselfish concern for others], joy, [inner] peace, patience [not the ability to wait, but how we act while waiting], kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness, self-control. Against such things there is no law."
— Galatians 5:22-23 (AMP)

God is good, and He wants to demonstrate his goodness through you. In a world that is increasingly rude and self-centered, even a little bit of God’s kindness stands out like a spot light in a dark room. It looks for opportunities to lift someone else up. Goodness is doing the right thing, even when nobody is watching, just to please God.

You don't need a big gift or a large platform to show goodness. Holding a door open, a smile, sincere compliment, or sending an encouraging message can change someone's entire day. Stop waiting for people to treat you well before you treat them well. Today, you're challenged to step out in faith and sow seeds of kindness. Watch how God brings a harvest of blessing back into your own life.

Decree:
Thank You, Lord, Your goodness and mercy follow me every day of my life. I am a blessing looking for a place to happen! Today, I will use my words and actions to lift others up.
