Peace be still

“And He got up and [sternly] rebuked the wind and said to the sea, “Hush, be still (muzzled)!” And the wind died down [as if it had grown weary] and there was [at once] a great calm [a perfect peacefulness].”
Mark 4:39 AMP

Jesus shows He is the absolute authority—not only over nature, but over chaos entirely. This shows us that no storm in our lives—whether emotional, spiritual, or circumstantial—is beyond His reach. The same voice that calmed the sea is still speaking to you today. Peace is not found in the absence of storms, but in the authority of our words from The One who is with us- Jesus. When fear rises, remember: the storm must obey Him. And if He is in your boat, you are never at the mercy of the waves.

Decree:
I declare peace over every storm in my life. Chaos must bow, fear must leave, in Jesus’ Name.
I now walk in faith, knowing that His words, spoken, secure my peace.
