Peace or Chaos? Which will you pursue?

“Turn away from evil and do good; seek peace and pursue it.” — Psalm 34:14

Peace doesn’t come because our circumstances become easier. It comes because our hearts become anchored in God.

The world teaches us to chase happiness, success, and approval. God teaches us to pursue peace. Peace is a choice to trust God even when life feels uncertain.

When we pursue peace, we stop fighting every battle that was never ours to fight. We stop carrying burdens Jesus already carried to the cross.

True peace begins when we surrender control.
Remember when Jesus slept in a boat during a violent storm? (Mark 4:35–41). The disciples panicked, but Jesus rested.

The storm around Him did not become the storm within Him.

That same peace is available to us.

Decree:
Thank You, Lord, for quieting my anxious heart. Teach me to pursue Your peace instead of my own understanding. Let Your presence calm every storm inside me.
Today I choose peace. I release fear, anxiety, striving, and control. God’s peace guards my heart and mind. I walk in supernatural peace. Amen.
